Which Brands of Fluorescent Desk Lamps Should You Buy?
So you're sold on fluorescent desk lamps. Great, now which types of bulbs should you use in your new lamp? Here are a few recommendations.
The best brand of fluorescent bulbs for your desk lamp are N:Vision's Soft White. These bulbs provide great lighting, showing the best performance for reading with your fluorescent desk lamp, as well as providing strong natural colors.
Westinghouse Natural Light bulb didn't work as nicely as a reading fluorescent desk lamp, but it provided strong illumination and good natural colors. As such, the lamp showed itself to be another strong choice.
Our last preferred option was the Philips Marathon. The lamp provided proper coloring and illumination, but it unfortunately just didn't seem very bright. As such, a good lamp, but not the best to push away the shadows.
